Maude Frances Gould, 78, died Friday morning at the Ben Hur Nursing Home following a week's serious illness. Born Aug. 29, 1881, in Schuyler County, Ill., she was the daughter of Amos and Anna Beal Yates. She was married October 1899, to James Edward Gould, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church and had lived in Crawfordsville since 1954. Most of her life was spent in Macomb, Ill. Survivors include a son, Max Gould of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Joe David of Crawfordsville and three granddaughters. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. John DeKruyter officiating. The body will be taken to Macomb, Ill., where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Dodsworth Piper Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Wood Cemetery there. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Saturday.
